"Amores" Irigon from the pictures archives of the late Mrs. Cleofe Amores the wife of the deceased Mr. Julio Amores
(former Calbayog City Treasurer in 1960's), and scanned by the webmaster. This picture was still in her possession until now
for memorabilia.

NIJAGA PARK - named after Calbayog local hero Benedicto
Nijaga who was shot in Bagumbayan January 11, 1897, 12 days after the execution of
Dr. Jose Rizal, the National Hero who was executed Dec. 30, 1896. In the same
venue, we can find CALBAYOG ART GALLERY for everyones delight.
